The product is dark red powder with the same chemical structure as C.I. vat red 15. It is a cis-isomer of pigment orange 43. It is slightly soluble in chloroform, azobenzene, toluene, insoluble in acetone and ethanol, and it is red-orange in concentrated sulfuric acid. Moreover, the product is mainly used for coloring of paints, inks, plastic products and polyester stock, and featured with excellent light resistance, weather fastness and thermal stability.
